Smoke Near Downtown Macon Caused by Controlled Fire

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Smoke pluming near downtown Macon was caused by a controlled agricultural burn.

Macon – Bibb Fire units scrambled inside the industrial section at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The smoke cleared in about 30 minutes, but fire officials could not find the source of the fire.
