Smartphone App May Help Cut Down on Drunk Driving

A new smartphone app could help cut down on drunk driving this New Year’s Eve.

The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety announced a list of free sober ride programs available on an app called “Drive Sober Georgia.”

The app can be downloaded for free on iPhone and Android devices.
Authorities say they want to make it as easy as possible for people to get a ride if they’ve had too much to drink.
