Slow Start at First Finance Meeting for Macon-Bibb Consolidation

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb Consolidation Task Force Finance Committee held their first meeting this morning, but a lot of the agenda items were left untouched.

“We talked a lot about what we would need in terms of a budget for the transition team,” says Elmo Richardson, Bibb County Commission.

Chairperson Pearlie Tolliver says the goal of this first meeting was to begin detailing out dollar amounts for the transition.

“My job is to keep everybody on task, and it was very challenging,” says Tolliver.
