Skeletal Remains Found in East Macon

Macon police are working to identify skeletal remains found in east Macon.

It happened around 12:30 this afternoon. Police say a man was collecting sticks behind a shopping center on Gray Highway, when he discovered the remains.

The MPD Crime Lab collected a skull and parts of a pelvis.

Detectives aren’t sure yet whether the remains are male or female, and they will continue to search the area for additional clues. If you have any information, call crimestoppers at 1-877-68-crime.
