Six Suspects Arrested in Bibb County on Marijuana Charges

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A total of six suspects have been arrested on marijuana charges in two separate operations, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s news release.

The first arrests took place around 1:30a.m. this morning at the Super 8 Motel on Chambers Road. Approximately 20 lbs. of marijuana, with a street value of $60,000, was seized and four suspects arrested as warrants were served on two different hotel rooms.

Elijah Powell III, 39; Touche Jerod Parker, 33; Octavioua Evette Young, 37; and Jaspar Denzell Davis, 20, were each charged with Marijuana Trafficking.

Parker was also charged with Probation Violation. All four are being held at the Bibb County LEC without bond.

The other arrests took place around 9a.m., also on Thursday morning, when Bibb County Drug Investigators apprehended two suspects allegedly selling marijuana out of addresses 1140 and 1144 on Boulevard Avenue.

1 1/2 lbs. of marijuana was seized, with a street value worth $4,000. A semi-automatic handgun was also found during the search.

The two men arrested, 33-year-old Jackie DeWayne Rouse, and Reginald Lamar Emory, were charged with having Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

Rouse was also charged with a Probation Violation Superior Court, while Emory was given an additional charge of Violation of Suspended Sentence. Both are being held at the Bibb County LEC without bond.
