Shots Fired, Woman Charged in Shooting Incident

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman is charged with aggravated assault, family violence after Macon Police responded to a call of shots fired.

According to a news release, it happened just before 8:30 Saturday morning.

51 year-old Mildred Phelps shot at 51 year-old Willie Rouse, the man she lives with off of Merriwood Drive.

The news release says quote “Phelps told investigators that in anger, she fired a single shot in Rouse’s direction and hit the ground.”
