Sheriff’s deputies investigate South Macon shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened on Cynthia Avenue around 2:30 a.m., Tuesday.

According to a news release, 35-year-old Tod Freeman was traveling as a passenger when an unknown man from a block party approached the car and yelled rude comments. Freeman was then shot in the arm by the suspect.

The driver of the vehicle told deputies the suspect was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans and a ball cap. Freeman said he was wearing a white t-shirt with a gray and black ball cap.
