Severe weather possible overnight Tuesday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The weather has been very nice over the last few days with highs in the low 70’s for both Saturday and Sunday.

Today, about the same temperature wise, but definitely more clouds today versus the weekend.

We will have another day like today for Tuesday, with chances for showers and thunderstorms.  There could be some stronger storms by Tuesday afternoon and there is a threat for Some Severe Storms later Tuesday Evening and overnight into Wednesday morning.  The biggest threat will come from Damaging winds potentially, but there is a Tornado risk involved with this one as well.  The humidity will be coming back in a pretty big way, especially for winter.  We will have more on this later on the news and social media.
