Several Middle Georgia McDonald’s take part in “Create Your Taste” test

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Several Middle Georgia McDonald’s are transforming into bistros.

The local fast food restaurant chain is part of a “Create Your Taste” test.

Here’s how it works: instead of going to the counter to order, now you can personalize your burger at a kiosk. You can choose from a variety of toppings, including sauces, cheese and bun choices.

The owners of the McDonald’s on Hartley Bridge Road, Bruce and Bridgett Freeman, say they are impressed with their customers’ feedback.

“I am so excited that they are willing to come in, try our new product and at the end of their experience they’re telling me and all of our staff they will be back,” says Bridgett Freeman.

They have hosts and hostesses at their McDonald’s restaurant. Once customers create their burgers at the kiosk, their meal is delivered to their table by a server.

The “Create Your Taste” test is not only going on in Middle Georgia, but also in Amarillo, Texas; Bakersfield, California; and Springfield, Illinois.
