The free event was at the Le Piada Banquet Facility was put on by the Macon-Middle Georgia Black Pages.

The expo gives the community a chance to meet local business owners and become familiar with their products.  Several vendors even offered free giveaways to those who took the time to stop by their booths.

New this year, the expo added three informational seminars to the lineup to help out those in the business community.

“We had one on how to start a business, one on managing your finances, and another one that was very interesting that every business should have been (at) to hear and see, (which was) dealing with and handling social media and internet marketing,” says Alex C. Habersham, publisher of the Black Pages.

Tuesday’s event also featured discussions on the contracting and procurement procedures for both the city and county governments.
