“Seth” from Twilight Saga Visits Macon

A movie star visits Middle Georgia this weekend to help make a difference in the life of a local 13 year old girl, and bring awareness to lung cancer. Booboo Stewart, who plays “Seth” in the “Twilight” movies, is the special guest for “Abby’s Dream Walk.”

‘Twilight Moms’ of Middle Georgia (ladies who say anyone can love the movies, not just young girls) has taken Abby Wilson who’s suffered from lung cancer for four years under their wings. They’ve redone her bedroom into a “Twilight” lover’s haven. Now, they’re hosting “Abby’s Dream Walk” to bring awareness to lung cancer and show young people that the disease can strike anyone, even non-smokers and children.

‘Twilight Moms’ asked walk contributor and owner of SoChi Companies, Terrell Sandefur, to help bring a “Twilight” star to the event. Abby loves the wolves and that’s what Booboo plays, so the moms got exactly what they wanted….Abby you are one lucky girl!

Stewart has loved being a part of the “Twilight” phenomenon. His role has opened up new opportunities. He’s been filming a super hero movie in Canada and tells us his Taekwondo training has made his extremely sore today, but he’s still exited to meet his Middle Georgia fans Saturday at “Abby’s Dream Walk.”

Stewart came to 41NBC’s studios Friday night with his mother and a couple friends that I called his “posse”….I think he liked that! The 17 year old was as genuine as they get. He is so thrilled to make the journey to Middle Georgia for such a great cause.

You can participate in “Abby’s Dream Walk” this Saturday from 9am-1pm at Tattnall Square Academy in Macon (111 Trojan Avenue). You can register on site for $25 and you can get Booboo’s (“Seth”) autograph for $10 and a photo with him for $20.
