SeeClickFix App gets Macon-Bibb new garbage carts

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Over the next several weeks, Macon-Bibb County’s Solid Waste Department will be delivering more than 1400 garbage cans.

The request for the cans came through the city’s SeeClickFix app.

Crews picked up used and damaged cans as they delivered the new ones. They also picked up cans from vacant properties that can be repaired or used for parts.

Solid Waste Director Kevin Barkley says, “I know people will be glad we found the money in our budget to begin addressing the situation.”

Solid Waste wants to encourage anyone who needs a new can or repairs to one to continue to submit request to the city’s website or the SeeClickFix app.
