Second Half Shooting Woes Doom MGSC Men in Loss to Atlanta Metro

Cochran, Ga. (MGSC RELEASE) – The Middle Georgia State College Knights men’s basketball team had a tough fought game through the first half leading 28-27 at the break. The Trailblazers of Atlanta Metro came out hot in the second half and opened up their largest lead of 53-38 early in the 2nd half. The Knights would get within 11 a couple of times the rest of the game but ended with a 68-54 loss.

The Knights were led by Roshaun Milline with 18 points while Jalen Lewis added 12. Rashard Flint led the team with 7 rebounds while Jalen Brown had 3 blocks.

The Knights next game will be Thursday the 23rd at Morris Gym in Cochran against Clinton Junior College at 7:30PM.
