School Openings, Closures, Delays: Wednesday, January 8th

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The frigid weather hasn’t left Middle Georgia yet, but many schools across the area are open Wednesday and resume classes.

Students in Bibb County will return to school, as well as in Wilkinson County.

Crawford County schools will be closed for students on Wednesday, but faculty and staff should report at 10 a.m.

Jones County schools are also closed on Wednesday due to a water main break in the City of Gray, that’s according to the district’s website.

Students in Monroe County schools will start the day an hour later than normal. Pulaski County schools will have a two hour delay for staff and students.
