School and Teammates Rally to Support Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Fellow Student
Purple was the color of choice tonight at the Tattnall Square Academy girls’ basketball game, in honor of one of their own, who has cystic fibrosis.
Students and supporters held a “Purple Out” after selling t-shirts supporting Haley’s Hope relay and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Haley Gordon plays for the girl’s Varsity and B-teams, and the school presented a check for $1,260 to support the cause.
“It’s unbelievable the support from the Tattnall family,” says Haley’s father, Steven Gordon, “to just support you personally and your family–for your child–is just beyond words.”
