(CNN)- Saoirse Ronan is the latest star to join the ambitious new Beatles biopic project. According to multiple reports, the four-time Oscar nominee will play Linda Eastman McCartney, the late wife and eventual bandmate of Paul McCartney.

Oscar nominee Paul Mescal will portray Paul himself — marking a reunion for the two actors, who previously played husband and wife in the 2023 sci-fi thriller Foe.

The four Beatles biopics, each told from a different band member’s point of view, are slated for release in 2028.

Meanwhile, a surprise screening at the New York Film Festival revealed another major premiere — Marty Supreme, starring Timothée Chalamet and directed by Josh Safdie. The unexpected debut drew huge crowds and excitement ahead of its December 25th theatrical release.

And the heroes in a half shell are back! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return in a brand-new short film, Chrome Alone 2: Lost in New Jersey. The short will screen ahead of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants when it hits theaters December 19th.
