Sandersville Police investigates bank robbery, suspect still at large

SANDERSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An armed suspect is still on the run after robbing the Wells Fargo Bank on South Harris Street in Washington County.

According to the Sandersville Police Department, the suspect was carrying a handgun when entering the bank Saturday morning.

The person of interest fled the scene with an unknown amount of money.
