Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Christmas Bazaar helps community

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s not too early for Christmas for the women’s auxiliary of the Salvation Army.

They hope you’ll come out and shop at their Christmas Bazaar.

You can get great deals on some hand made Christmas decorations.

Shoppers lined up to take advantage today at the Salvation Army Thrift Store on Mercer University Drive.

It’s the first ever bizarre, and all the money goes back into the community.

“Our donations, all of it comes from people here in our neighborhood and then everything stays in our area,” said Major Frances Gilliam. “It all goes to help the things that we do to help people.”

The bizarre goes until 6 p.m. Friday and then kicks back up starting at 11 a.m. Saturday until 6 p.m. at the thrift store on Mercer University Drive.
