Rosh Hashanah Began Tonight At Sundown

Tonight, Jewish communities throughout the world celebrated at sundown as they enter into the high holy season.

Rosh Hashanah, is the start of the New Year for people of the Jewish faith.

“What we do is look back at who we have been, notice where those faults are, failures are, and resolve as we enter the New Year,” says Rabbi Larry Schlesinger.

The final celebration takes place in ten days on Yom Kippur.
