Rochelle Mayor: Storm Clean-up Will Take Weeks

The City of Rochelle is recovering from what residents say is the worst storm they’ve ever seen.

Catherine Rogers describes Thursday’s storm as, “Scary, scary, scary.”

She says everything happened quickly. “First a little breeze came by, then it got really dark, and then wind and hail,” says Rogers.

Crushed cars, gas pumps ripped from the ground, and neighborhoods left to clean up mother nature’s chaotic mess were reminds of the storm’s fury.
