Robins Air Force Base Commander to Retire in June
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Air Force announced today that Maj. Gen. Robert McMahon will retire later this year. McMahon has served as the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center Commander since November 2010. He’s been in the military for more than 34 years.
In a news release, McMahon said he plans to remain in Middle Georgia. “We look forward to continuing to support our community and our Air Force as I move to the next chapter of life,” said McMahon.
“Hope and I have been honored and humbled by the opportunities we have been given during our time in Middle Georgia and as an Air Force family,” said McMahon, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center commander. “I look forward to being her wingman as she continues to serve and only hope I can support her as well as she has supported me.”
