Robins Air Force Base Announces New Commander for 78th Air Base Wing

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Robins Air Force Base Thursday announced the 78th Air Base Wing has a new commander.

Col. Christopher Hill, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex deputy commander for maintenance, will take over for Col. Mitchel Butikofer, who’s served as commander of the 78th Air Base Wing for nearly 18 months.

Butikofer hasn’t received his new assignment yet but should by next summer.
