Roberta Man Shot and Killed on Rocky Creek Road
A Roberta man has been shot and killed in Macon’s 21st homicide of the year.
The shooting happened, around 7 p.m. at
32-year-old Ronald Howard from
Paramedics performed CPR as they transported Howard to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
According to Bibb County Coroner, Leon Jones, Howard was pronounced dead at 9:45 pm by the Medical Center trauma team. Police tell 41 NBC they’re currently investigating.
“At this time we’re investigating the shooting of a black male subject. Right now the detectives have just arrived and we’re checking the crime scene at this point,” said Macon Deputy Chief, Mike Carswell.
A neighbor near the crime scene describes the moments after the shooting.
“I looked out the window and I seen all the flashing lights and I went outside to see what was going on, the police officer asked me if I had heard any gunshots, I said no because I’ve been sitting in the living room, he said well somebody got shot,” said Dieter Mueller, a neighbor near the crime scene.
Neighbors say there was a lot of activity late in the night, with cars coming in and out of the driveway.
