Robert Brown Reflects on Race for Mayor
Tonight, Macon mayoral candidate Robert Brown reflects back on his decision to return to Macon after serving 20 years in the state senate.
Brown says he may not be in an elected office, but he will never get out of politics. He believes the people have spoken and Brown is satisfied with their decision.
“I don’t regret anything I’ve done in politics. I’ve had a long and productive career and now I can retire with happiness and look back on what I’ve done and feel good about it.”
He feels community members made their decision based on their interests
and says that’s just how it goes.
“I think given the circumstances and what I had to work with I think we made the best decisions and we have to live with those decisions.”
