Robbery suspect allegedly beats store clerk

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 33-year-old Randy Vanshun Rozier for his involvement in an attempted robbery at the Raceway gas station on Harrison Road.

Deputies say Rozier entered the store and demanded money.

When the clerk refused, he jumped over the counter and began hitting her, before running off without any money.

Rozier is being charged with criminal attempt to commit robbery, battery, and has an outstanding warrant for armed robbery.
