Robber steals Macon doctor’s briefcase, pants

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a person armed robbery that happened at Harmony Medical Services Monday afternoon.

Investigators say the suspect entered the business on Monroe Street around 1:30 p.m. He was wearing a gray hoodie. The sheriff’s office says the suspect asked to speak with the doctor.

When the suspect was let back to see the doctor, authorities say he pulled out a gun from his pocket and demanded the doctor’s briefcase and pants. Inside the pants were the victim’s wallet, ID, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The sheriff’s office says the suspect stole the items and ran away.
