Rising river levels close Ocmulgee Heritage Trail

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Ocumulgee Heritage Trail closed Thursday morning due to rising river levels.

The levels will be monitored by The Parks and Beautification Department to determine when the trail will be able to reopen.

As of now, the department believes the trail won’t reopen until Friday afternoon.
