There’s probably going to be a wait for a table on Friday and Saturday nights.
“I wish we had more space,” said Newton.
But you’ll see why.
“We definitely you know our staff takes a lot of pride in this building and it starts with the owners, Chad and Wes, and it goes all the way down to the dish washer,” said Newton.
The Rookery invites you in, and the menu has lots of good stuff.
“We’ve really been working with local farmers you know all of our dairy comes from southern Swiss Dairy, our grass-fed beef is from White Oak Pastures in Bluffton, Ga.,” said Newton.
If you needed yet another reason to visit, the perfect health inspection score helps.
“Everybody has bought into that culture here,” said Newton. “Daily checklists, checking our temps and making sure everything’s temping out like it should. We have a great kitchen manager, Michael Dean is our kitchen manager he does a great job.”
The Rookery is making the grade this week.
