Restaurant Report Card: Stacked

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – “You order right here, have a seat, and we’ll bring it out to ya,” said Stacked owner Bo Sibilsky.

Owner Bo Sibilsky’s main course is stacked with friendly ingredients.

“Ya’ll have a great day…have a good weekend!” said Sibilsky.”The biggest sandwich we have is a club sandwich–turkey ham and bacon on it.”

Take the meat, cheese, and bread and stack it with kind words, and you’ve got stacked sandwiches and more in Milledgeville.

But first, here’s a restaurant that needs to step it up this week.

Bombay Indian Restaurant on Bloomfield Village Drive scored a 47.

The person in charge didn’t show they knew about the violations, they were cooking homemade yogurt mixture that wasn’t from an approved source, and all the food in the outside walk-in cooler wasn’t at a cold enough temperature.

Salads To Go on North Millerfield Road scored a 72.

They didn’t have a certified food safety manager certificate, a significant amount of food, including meat, was not at a cold enough holding temperature, and the freezer and a refrigerator weren’t cold enough to store food.

Other scores this week:

Buffalo’s Cafe on Zebulon – 91

China Wok on Cotton Avenue – 99

Jeanene’s at Pinebrook on Forsyth – 91

Jeanene’s Cafe on Mulberry Street – 88

Joy’s Home Cooking on Riverside Parkway – 96

Lemongrass on Cherry Street – 100

Marco Italian Restaurant on Forsyth – 96

Margarita’s on Zebulon – 96

Molly’s Cafe on Cherry Street – 90

Ninja Japanese Steakhouse on Mulberry Street Lane – 87

So some good scores this week.

Life partners and business partners Bo and Mandy Sibilsky make a mean sandwich at Stacked.

“We’ve had a great time with it, didn’t want to do a franchise, it’s been fun, we’ve got a great group of people that come in,” said Sibilsky.

Good food leads to good relationships.

“We were talking about it this morning how it’s sad that the seniors from the college leave so we won’t see them again but they’ve grown up with us,” said Sibilsky.

But you probably wouldn’t be surprised if they came back even after graduation.

What’s more important than a good sandwich?

Stacked has stacked up a 100 on the wall.

It’s making the grade this week.
