Restaurant Report Card: Milo & Ronda’s Homestyle Cookin’
Take out tastes good when you’re in a rush.
“We strive to keep the food hot and fresh, and we get it out as fast as we can,” said Harpe.
So don’t rush past Milo and Ronda’s Home Style Cookin’ in Macon.
But first, here’s a restaurant that needs to step it up this week.
McDonald’s on Zebulon Road scored a 76.
An employee didn’t have a beard guard on while he prepped food, the general manager didn’t have a hair restraint while she prepared food, and the fridge next to the drive through window wasn’t keep food cold enough.

There were some good scores this week.
“This is a family-ran business, her nephew volunteers we all volunteer,” said Harpe.
The support system works for co-owner Ronda Smith–that includes her mother Vickie.
“Her sisters, they come in, the nieces the nephews everyone volunteers so it can be a success,” said Harpe.
A family run place creates true homestyle cooking.
“Awesome, wholesome, down-home country cookin’ food,” said Harpe.
A perfect health inspection takes hard work.
“Being a customer you want a clean environment, you want it clean and pleasant, so we keep it clean,” said Harpe.
So grab some take out or dine in at Milo & Ronda’s–they’ll welcome you like family.
