Restaurant Report Card: Margaritas

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – “Anytime you want to stop over, we’ll take care of you very well,” said George.

No doubt the service and food at Margarita’s is top notch.

“Because we are Mexicans, we know the right recipes I guess,” said George.

No guessing here–I definitely enjoyed the meal.

“We are Mexicans so we know the flavor,” said George.

And the flavor tastes just like true Mexican food.

“I am going to tell you to order the house special because that’s the must sell–most people like it,” said George.

You don’t have to tell me twice.

And the health inspection score is top of the charts.

“The reason we get a 100 is because everyday we do like we’re going to have an inspection everyday–that’s the way we work,” said George.

Margarita’s is making the grade this week, and here’s a restaurant that needs to step it up.

Loncheria Dos Amigos on Pio Nono Avenue scored a 67.

They had raw egg shells stored over beer, raw chicken stored over raw beef, and there was no proper employee health form.
