Restaurant Report Card: Mama’s Que, Stew & Country Cafe
GRAY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – “What I cook I like to eat, and I hope they like to eat it so I’ve been blessed,” said Mama’s Que, Stew & Country Cafe owner Chef Julie.
Your prayers have been answered.
“Homemade macaroni and cheese and all the vegetables–fresh vegetables you can get,” said Chef Julie.
Chef Julie is reigning down blessings with her barbecue and country food menu.
“We come in here to eat everyday and get some of this good home cooking,” said one customer.
“There’s just something about it–homemade, real good. The mac ‘n cheese is the way I like it. I ordered me a plate to go–a plate of macaroni to go,” said another customer.
So good, you’ll want to take it with you.
“So I hope they try the macaroni and cheese they say it’s the best they’ve ever had. I have fried pies and homemade banana pudding everyday,” said Chef Julie.
That perfect health inspection on the wall has a heavenly glow to it.
“Even if they don’t have a hundred health score I really try to strive and make sure everything’s on task and clean and towels where they need to be and everything’s dated,” said Chef Julie. “It’s just very important.”
