Restaurant Report Card: Main Street Pizza

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It takes some floury, hard working hands to run a pizza place, but it’s the people that are owner Shane Woodall’s favorite part.

“It’s the same faces you see everyday, they’re like family,” said Woodall.

The regulars know it well–you can grab a slice on your lunch break.

The restaurant is at 344 2nd St. in Macon across from Robins Federal Credit Union downtown.

“We have a lot of regular customers,” said Woodall. “And a lot of our customers have been coming in so long they know our kids and they know our story and all that and that’s pretty cool.”

Just head up on the main street.

“This is going to be the main drag, apparently in the long run she felt Main Street Pizza works, and I think it works,” said Woodall, as he pointed outside his restaurant.

And that health inspection score, which is a perfect 100, is great any way you slice it.

“That’s one of the first things people got used to looking at these days they walk in and see what your health score is,” said Woodall.
