Restaurant Report Card: Chicken Salad Chick

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – “I think it’s really special because obviously we’ve got the base that supports us and Warner Robins is just a great community,” said Chicken Salad Chick owner Lanier Mcleod.

The community certainly came out to Chicken Salad Chick at 4088 Watson Boulevard.

“Lots of people here,” said Mcleod. “It’s also a great location–centrally located in Georgia.”

Lunch was packed–and so were people’s stomachs.

“My favorite flavor is the Cranberry Kelly,” said Mcleod. “It has the perfect balance–it has the perfect sweetness to it and goes great with all of our fresh side items.”

You may think Chicken Salad Chick’s menu is limited.

“With all the varieties of chicken salad that we offer it definitely makes this place special,” said Mcleod.

But then you wouldn’t know just how many ways they’ve transformed the southern classic–including dips like the Rockin’ Rita.

“It’s with our Red Wickles sandwich spread, it’ll be great for tailgating it’s great as a scoop as a sandwich or as a dip,” said Mcleod.

The perfect health inspection is just as satisfying as a bite of chicken salad.

“Us scoring 100 on this health score means a lot to us and I think means a lot to the community knowing they can come here and get a meal and know that it’s prepared perfectly,” said Mcleod. “The turnout has been spectacular.”
