Restaurant Report Card: 2 Guys And A Pie Pizzeria
BONAIRE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – “You know you’re getting 10 orders in every minute,” said 2 Guys And A Pie Pizzeria manager Aubrey Jones.
The dining rush hour at 2 Guys and a Pie Pizzeria at 402 GA Highway 247 in Bonaire is hectic–but there’s a reason.
“For the pizzas it would definitely be the Hawaiian,” said Jones. “It’s in my opinion it’s the best it’s bacon it’s ham it’s pineapple it’s everything you want in a pizza in my opinion.”
But before we get to that, here’s a restaurant that needs to step it up this week.
Huddle House on Roberson Mill Road scored a 68.
The certified food safety manager form wasn’t displayed, they had some old food accumulated in the toaster and there were several cockroaches in the restaurant.
Other scores this week:
Francar’s on Linden Avenue – 100
J. Christopher’s on Starcadia Circle – 82
Mellow Mushroom on Bowman Road – 99
Nu-Way Weiners on Northside Drive – 100
Saleem’s Fish Supreme on Pio Nono Avenue – 94
Sauced at Mercer Village on Montpelier Avenue – 100

Smoothie King on Riverside Drive – 100
Steve’s Corner Cafe on Arkwright Road – 100
USA Deli on Columbus Road – 91
Zheng’s Wok on Bowman Road – 91
Good scores this week.
“It’s quality pizza–it’s authentic New York style,” said Jones.
New York style in the middle of Bonaire, Georgia–that’ll work.
“Our boss actually when to new York to learn how to make it the right way,” said Jones.
The pizza looked great–but manager Aubrey Jones aims to make you a return customer.
“So I think it’s definitely the whole experience that makes it quality that makes it to where people want to come back in,” said Jones.
Part of that is what’s on the wall.
“So we’ve got the Louisville sluggers over there,” said Jones. “We’ve got basketball for a lot of the people.”
And of course the main sport of choice.
“Football for a lot of the people around especially in Central Georgia football is a very big thing for us so we’ve got a wall pretty much dedicated.”
Staying clean might be the only thing more important than the pizza.
“It’s the little things that really get you on it,” said Jones. “You know washing your hands after you’re touching tomatoes you know so you dropped something on the floor so you bend over to pick it up now your hands are contaminated, so you gotta wash your hands. It’s the little things that you gotta watch out for.”
2 Guys And A Pie Pizzeria is making the grade this week.
