Residents invited to Q&A sessions on proposed data center in Twiggs County

Twiggs County residents are encouraged to attend public Q&A sessions being held Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss a proposed data center project.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Twiggs County residents are encouraged to attend public Q&A sessions being held Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss a proposed data center project. Ken Loeber, founding partner of Eagle Rock Partners, will provide information and answer questions from the community about the development.

Sessions will take place in the Twiggs County Board of Commissioners Meeting Room at the county courthouse. The session schedule is as follows:

  • Tuesday (9/16): 1-2 p.m.
  • Wednesday (9/17): 9-10 a.m., 1-2 p.m., 5-6 p.m.

The proposed data center campus is planned for approximately 291.5 acres of land, which would require rezoning. The site currently consists of dense trees and is located partially north of Adams Park Road, about 1.4 miles east of Georgia Highway 129.

A Planning and Zoning (P & Z) public hearing is scheduled for Thursday, September 18.
