Recent shark incidents leave beach communities on edge
An emergency call from Fort Lauderdale, Florida came in after an 11-year-old boy was hurt in the water and left with puncture wounds — something first responders say is a likely shark bite. A 26-year-old woman in Kona, Hawaii was bitten twice in the lower back and hip, but managed to escape with her life.
