Ford recalls 1.4 million F-150 Trucks for transmission defect
Ford has announced a major recall of approximately 1.4 million F-150 pickup trucks due to a transmission defect. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that certain 2015 to 2017 models with six-speed automatic transmissions can unexpectedly downshift, increasing the risk of a crash. These affected trucks were manufactured between March 12, 2014, and August 18, 2017. Ford dealers will repair the issue at no charge, and owners should expect official recall letters by the end of the month.
Casely power bank recall re-announced after fires
Casely is re-announcing its recall of 5000mAh MagSafe wireless power banks after additional reports of fire and overheating—including one fatality and a serious injury. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission urges consumers to stop using the power banks immediately, as they can overheat, expand, or catch fire while charging phones. Owners should not throw these devices in the trash or regular recycling. Instead, they should dispose of them at a local hazardous waste center after confirming acceptance guidelines.
SpringFlower Montessori toy sets recalled over choking hazard
SpringFlower has recalled its 5-in-1 Montessori toy sets sold on Amazon after discovering a choking hazard. The airplane-shaped teething toy included in the set has parts that can pose a serious risk to young children and does not meet safety standards. Consumers should stop using the toy and keep it away from children. SpringFlower is offering free replacements or refunds. The affected sets were sold on Amazon from October 2023 to November 2025 for around $30.
Arch Studio tea kettles recalled over handle hazard
Arch Studio tea kettles sold at Macy’s have been recalled due to concerns that the handle can detach, posing a burn or spill hazard. The stainless steel kettles with black handles are about 1.9 quarts in size, with “Arch Studio” and “HJ10525” etched on the bottom. Three incidents of handle detachment have been reported, though no injuries so far. The kettles were sold at Macy’s stores and online from August 2025 to February 2026 for around $50. Owners should stop using the product immediately.
Canine milk replacers recalled over Vitamin D concerns
Revival Animal Health has recalled its Breeder’s Edge Foster Care and Shelter’s Choice canine milk replacers due to inconsistent vitamin D levels. Dogs consuming these products may develop symptoms such as vomiting, appetite loss, or increased thirst, and two cases of rickets have been linked to the issue. Consumers should stop using the milk replacers and contact the company for a refund.
