Stay up to date with critical product recalls, safety alerts, and consumer warnings.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s a new week, which means there are new recalls across the country.
Here’s what you need to know this week:
Bed Rails Recalled After Two Deaths
Three models of bed rails made by Vive Health have been recalled after two men in their 90s died after becoming trapped. The rails—sold at medical supply stores and on Amazon—pose a risk of people getting stuck within the rail or between the rail and the mattress. Not all affected rails have model numbers or labels. If you think you own one, contact Vive Health for a possible refund.
Check Your Freezer: USDA Issues Alert for Blackwing Meats
The USDA has issued a public health alert for several Blackwing Organic Meats beef and pork products—including New York strip steak, ground beef, stew meat, steak strips, and pork—produced April 2024 to March 2026 and shipped nationwide. Some were made without federal inspection and may have a false or missing USDA mark. Do not eat, throw away or return them to the store.
AirClub Convertible Bassinets Recalled for Fall Hazard
AirClub has recalled its convertible bassinets, which can be used as bedside sleepers, due to a risk of serious injury or death from falls. If your bassinet is labeled “QX-831” (check the label under the mattress pad) and was sold on Amazon between October 2023 and December 2025, stop using it immediately. AirClub will provide a replacement attachment mechanism.
4our Kiddies Furniture Straps Recalled
The CPSC has recalled more than 250,000 “4our Kiddies Plastic Tip Restraint Kits”—furniture straps meant to prevent tip-overs—because they can fail, posing a risk of injury or death to children. Sold on Amazon from June 2019 to January 2026, the kits include white plastic mounts, screws, drywall anchors, and a zip tie. Visit the CPSC website for more info and safe furniture anchoring tips.
Nexgrill Grill Brushes Recalled
Over 10 million Nexgrill grill brushes sold at Home Depot have been recalled. The wire bristles can detach and stick to food, posing an ingestion hazard. At least five people have swallowed metal bristles and needed medical treatment. Don’t use these brushes—contact Nexgrill for a refund.
DuraTrac Stainless Steel Gas Connectors Recall
DuraTrac has recalled certain gas connectors sold at Ace Hardware, Blake’s Inc., and Merritt’s Hardware between May and November 2025 due to a fire hazard. Look for date codes 24D, 25A, 25B, or 25C. No injuries reported but stop using them and contact DuraTrac for a refund.
Lexus SUV Recall for Rearview Camera Issue
Toyota is recalling over 140,000 Lexus SUVs because the rearview camera may not display an image when reversing, raising the risk of a crash. The recall covers NX 250 and NX 350 models from 2022–2025, RX 350 from 2023–2026, and TX 350 from 2024–2026. Dealers will repair or replace the camera for free.
