RECALL WATCH LIST: Clear Eyes, Outshine bars and Publix berries recalled

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Before you grab anything from your kitchen, medicine cabinet or pet’s food bowl, make sure you’re not affected by new urgent product recalls. Several popular household items, from eye drops and fruit bars to frozen berries and dog food, have recently been pulled from store shelves for safety reasons. Here’s what you need to know to keep your family and pets safe.

FDA recalls Clear Eyes drops over sterility concerns

The FDA has recalled nearly 40,000 bottles of “Clear Eyes” Maximum Itchy Eye Relief eye drops, sold nationwide. The recall is due to concerns about contamination and lack of assured sterility. Only 15-milliliter bottles with an expiration date of September 30, 2027, are affected. Consumers are urged not to use these drops and to return them to the store for a refund.

Outshine Fruit Bars pulled for possible glass contamination

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, Inc. has voluntarily recalled select Outshine Fruit Bars after reports of possible glass fragments in the product. The recall includes six-count boxes of Strawberry, Watermelon, Grape, Tangerine, and Black Cherry, as well as the 24-count variety pack. There have been no reports of injuries, but consumers should discard these products or return them for a full refund.

Publix Frozen Berries linked to E. Coli outbreak

The FDA has issued its highest-risk, “tier one” warning for GreenWise-brand organic blueberries and frozen mixed berries sold at Publix. The recall, initiated in July and later expanded, follows a multistate E. coli outbreak that has sickened 12 people and hospitalized four. The affected berries have been pulled from shelves, but customers are advised to check their freezers and return or throw away any recalled products.

Fromm recalls canned dog food for potential metal fragments

Fromm Family Foods is recalling certain canned dog foods due to the risk of metal fragments. The affected products are Fromm Turkey Pâté (12.2-ounce cans) and Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté (12.5-ounce cans), both with a best-by date of March 20, 2029. Sold in stores nationwide and online, these foods should not be fed to pets. Customers should return them to the place of purchase.

Goal Zero power stations recalled for fire hazard

Goal Zero is recalling about 46,000 Yeti 3000X portable power stations after four reports of the units catching fire, overheating, or smoking. The recall covers models sold between May 2020 and August 2025. Owners should stop using the power stations immediately and contact Goal Zero for a free firmware update, available through the app or direct installation by the company.
