Frigidaire recalls nearly 180,000 gas ranges over burn risk
Frigidaire, a leading name in home appliances, is recalling close to 180,000 gas ranges due to a potentially serious safety hazard. The company says the bake burners in certain models may delay ignition, creating a burn risk for users.
Regulators have reported at least 30 injuries associated with this issue. The recall effects select models of Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional gas ranges, sold across the U.S. and Canada between June and January.
Customers with affected ranges are urged to stop using them and contact Frigidaire. The company will send a professional to repair or replace the oven for free.

Holiday Light-Up Tumblers recalled over battery ingestion concern
If you picked up a light-up tumbler for the holidays, Lifetime Brands has recalled more than 75,000 of its holiday-themed LED plastic tumblers (16- to 18-ounce sizes) because they pose a potential danger to children. These tumblers can break and expose small disk batteries that could be swallowed, leading to serious injury, internal burns, or worse.
So far, there has been one report of a child putting a battery in their mouth, but thankfully no injuries. The tumblers were sold between October 2024 and December 2024 at retailers like Kroger, Nordstrom Rack and Winn-Dixie. If you have one, stop using it and safely dispose of the battery. Lifetime Brands is offering full refunds to customers who return the product.
