Readers urged to help move books to new Perry Library

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Perry’s new library is almost ready for readers to come check out its new facility, but they need some help. 

The library’s directors is asking card holders to check out books from their temporary location on Sunshine Avenue, and bring them to the new one on Washington Street. 

Al items checked out will have a longer loan period. Library visitors can check out up to 50 books at a time. The temporary location will clone on April 25th. The new library is scheduled to open in late May.
