Qualifying Ends for 2013 Elections in Warner Robins

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Qualifying for the 2013 Elections in Warner Robins ended on Friday.

The following qualified to run for City Council:

Mayor: Randy Toms, Joe Musselwhite, Daron D. Lee, Robert ‘Mike’ Brashear, Charles ‘Chuck’ Chalk, and Eva K. Folse

Post 1 at Large: Charlie Scott, Jr., Mike Daley, Chuck Shaheen, and Jeffrey L. Walker Sr.

Post 3: James L. Shealy and Keith Lauritsen

Post 5: Richard ‘Chef’ Weldon, Clifford Holmes Jr., and Liberty Kovach

A special election will be held in conjunction with November’s election to fill the Post 4 seat now that Councilman Mike Brashear is running for mayor. Qualifying for the Post 4 special election will be next Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
