Publix coffee cake recalled over labeling error

Publix has recalled a batch of its Maple Walnut Coffee Cake after discovering a labeling error that could pose a serious risk for people with walnut allergies.

Some packages were mislabeled as Raspberry Coffee Cake. While the packaging states the cakes are made on equipment that processes nuts, walnuts were not listed as an ingredient. The omission could mislead consumers who rely on ingredient lists to avoid allergens.

Customers are advised to carefully check dessert labels and avoid the product if they have nut allergies.

Non-dairy ice cream recalled over foreign material concerns

Fans of So Delicious Non-Dairy Frozen Treats are being urged to check their freezers.

Salted Caramel Cluster pints are being recalled nationwide after reports that some containers may contain small stones or other hard foreign materials. Affected products carry best-by dates before Aug. 8, 2027.

Consumers are encouraged to check their ice cream and contact the company for guidance on refunds or replacements.

Nasal sprays pulled due to contamination

Medinatura New Mexico, Inc. has recalled all lots of its Reboost Nasal Spray after testing revealed the presence of yeast, mold and other contaminants.

The recall has since expanded to include ClearLife Nasal Spray, which showed even higher levels of contamination. Health authorities warn that using the affected products could cause serious infections.

Customers are urged to stop using the sprays immediately.

Above-ground pools recalled over drowning hazard

A recall has also been issued for above-ground pools from Blue Wave that are 48 inches tall or more.

Officials say the strap around the pool legs can create a step, making it easier for children to climb into the pool without supervision. The condition presents a significant drowning risk.

Blue Wave is offering a free repair kit. Until repairs are made, parents are advised to closely supervise children or consider draining the pool.

Topical ointment recalled for child safety risk

More than 50,000 jars of MAMISAN Pain Relieving Topical Ointment have been recalled due to non-child-resistant packaging.

The product was sold at major retailers, including Walmart and Target, between April and October. Officials warn the ointment poses a poisoning risk if ingested by children.
