ProjectTRIO to Perform Saturday at Grand Opera House

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – March 9th at the Grand Opera House you can see a group that really pushes the envelope of classical music, blending it with a mix of jazz, hip-hop and today’s music!

ProjectTRIO, a flute/cello/bass combo will perform at 7:30pm Saturday night with the Macon Symphony Orchestra. The group appeared on the 41NBC News at 6 to perform and give viewers a taste of their unique sound. The flutist, Greg Patillo, cellist Erick Stevenson, and bassist Peter Seymour all met at a classical music conservatory at the Cleveland Institute of Music. 16 years later, they still tour together.

They have performed all over the world, from Hong Kong to Australia. Their YouTube account has more than 75,000 subscribers.
