Police: Woman Hit By Car After Argument

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -A Macon woman is in jail after she allegedly hit another woman with car, shortly after an agrument.

Velma Braswell hit a 27-year-old woman with her vehicle on Friday afternoon near Ell Street. Braswell fled the scene.

Macon Police say the case stemmed from an earlier alteraction.

Braswell was arrested and taken to Bibb LEC. She is charged with aggravated assault. The victim sufferered injuries to the ankle and abdomen.
