Police Use Pepper Spray to Break Up Howard High School Fight; Two Arrested
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Howard High School Campus Police had to use pepper spray to break up a fight involving six students.
It happened at the bus ramp during dismissal at about 3 pm. According to a news release from the Bibb County School district, after the fight police asked a 14-year-old alternative student who witnessed the fight to get on the bus, but he refused. After he disobeyed the officer several times, he was put in handcuffs. That’s when a 15-year-old student tried to assault the officer and was arrested also.
Both are charged with misdemeanor obstruction of a public school, and the 15-year-old is also charged with felony disruption of an officer.
