Police Identify Body Found on Mead Road

Macon police are on the lookout for a 1999 gold Dodge Stratus belonging to Ignacio Gabriel Armenta Contreras. The tag number is BYT 8223.

The body of 23-year-old Contreras was found Saturday around 4:10AM on Mead Road, near the Allied Industrial Park area. An officer patrolling the area and checking the buildings noticed Contreras’ body with gunshot wounds on the roadway.

He was pronounced dead on the scene. This case is still under investigation.
