Police find second Wings Cafe shooting suspect in Atlanta area in two days

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Police have arrested another suspect in the Wings Cafe shooting December 12th.

Multiple law enforcement agencies arrested 26-year-old Shavious Balkcom near College Park, Georgia in the Atlanta area.

He’s charged with six counts of aggravated assault and 12 counts of violating the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.

He’s the second suspect found in the Atlanta area in two days.

Police took Balkcom to the Bibb County Jail.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an additional suspect in their investigation of a fatal Macon nightclub shooting.

29-year-old Derek Motez Taylor was arrested by the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office around 4:15 p.m., Wednesday.

He’s charge with 6 counts of aggravated assault, 12 counts of violation of the street gang terrorism prevention act, and probation violation.

Taylor is being held in the Bibb County jail.
