Pinkest Party On Earth Opens Up Ticket Sales
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tickets are now on sale for the 30th anniversary of the Pinkest Party on Earth.
A new store located on Mulberry Street, the Gift Shop is open now through April 1st, where shoppers can find everything pink to prepare for the party. From stuffed poodles, to pens, to the T-shirts hanging on the walls, if you need pink, the Gift Shop is the place to be.
Some of the newest additions to this year’s festival are the running of free trolley rides around downtown during the party. NewTown is offering everyone at the Cherry Blossom Festival a ride from Central City Park to various points of interest in downtown Macon.
Another addition for the 30th anniversary is a 3-D Chalk Art Exhibit. Gateway Macon is sponsoring the artwork, which will be drawn on the streets of Macon so people can watch the unique art being created.
“It is a lot of fun,” Beth Dunwoody of Gateway Macon explains. “It is so appropriate for Macon, which is known for its art. And we’re going to take it to the streets and add one more thing that just makes it that much hotter here in Macon.”
Tickets to the Cherry Blossom Festival can be purchased online at Cherryblossom.com, or in person at the Grand Opera House. The Pinkest Party on Earth runs March 16th through the 25th.
